GARDEN CITY, Kansas (AP) — A California company has acquired several wind projects in western Kansas. Santa Barbara-based Infinity Wind Power on Wednesday announced the purchase of the Pioneer Wind Project in Ford County from Clipper Windpower Development.
With the extension of an important tax credit, the wind energy industry could be poised for another big year in 2013 as companies scramble to get projects completed in time to take advantage of the incentive.
